Oklahoma City, OK - MAGPOWR, a leader in the design and engineering of tension control products for the web handling industry, announced today the designation of IP67 ratings for their CL and GTS model Load Cells. Both designs will be on display at CMM 2007 in Booth 421.
One of the highest levels of environmental protection, the IP67 rating ensures that the popular load cell designs are suitable for dusty environments, withstanding water wash-down and even immersion to 1 meter. CL Model Load Cells support cantilevered idler rolls in narrow web applications and can be mounted to either side of the machine frame. GTS Load Cells are mounted under each end of the sensing roll in Under Pillow Block applications.
“The IP67 designation allows us to place a standard load cell design in an application where special designs were once required,” said Darrell Whiteside, Product Manager for MAGPOWR. “As a result, we’re able to present new options to our customer that will save them time and money in the selection process.”
MAGPOWR Load Cells are built to perform in rugged environments, featuring mechanical overload stops in both force directions to prevent load cell damage and eliminating the need for recalibration even after extreme overloads. A full wheatstone bridge is incorporated into each load cell for maximum stability and accuracy.
