Tidland Corporation, a Maxcess International Company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to apply the principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports at our Camas, WA facility.
Principal Duties:
- Analyze & monitor general ledger accounts
- Perform analytical analyses to determine trends, estimates, & significant changes from budgets and forecast
- Perform month end close & external financial reporting
- Monitor proper handling of financial transactions & approve transactions within designated limits
- Monitor compliance with GAAP & company procedures
- Perform special projects as needed
Competencies:
- Must have strong understanding of GAAP
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks effectively
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic & attention to detail
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience- Cost accounting in a manufacturing environment is a plus
