Steven Havens of Specialty Brands is selected to receive an all expenses paid trip to the race in February

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Maxcess International recently announced the winner of the DAYTONA® 500 trip giveaway at PACK EXPO 2004. Steven Havens will receive a complete travel package to the DAYTONA® 500, to include tickets to the DAYTONA® 500 race, accommodations, airfare and transportation for two.

Randy Adams, National Sales Manager for Maxcess International, selected the winner after more than 500 attendees completed the required booth tour. In attendance for the selection of the winner were Jim Carney and Dan Sreenan, members of the PACK EXPO show staff.

"We were thrilled to see such a positive response to the promotion,” said Randy Adams. “Many of the visitors to the Maxcess booth were fans of high-performance racing, but after the tour, they also wanted to learn how to get their packaging lines running faster, smarter and better. The promotion was successful at bringing those ideas together.”

To qualify for the trip, attendees were asked to complete a brief tour of the Maxcess International booth to view on the latest advances in web guiding, winding, slitting, inspection and tension control. Products included POLARIS Web Guide Controller and InPrint Video Web Inspection from Fife, CYGNUS Tension Control from MAGPOWR, as well as ergonomic air shafts and slitter positioning systems from Tidland.
