2014 saw a number of very positive highs down under. We kicked off the year with the continuation of the launch of the Accu-Series™ flexible die range. Our customers now have a clearer understanding of our die grades and which best suit their needs and application.

We also continued with the resurrection of solid die manufacturing. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the help of newly appointed production manager, Graeme Elliot. Graeme is from a printing background so had a clear understanding of where we needed to be. Along with Graeme, 3 additional rotary die specialists joined the team. Now, with a fully functional solid die department, we are able to accept orders for AU and NZ and deliver into Asia.

We continue with a new addition to the CS team, Vanessa Seng. Vanessa came to us with an insurance background. Her level of customer service is excellent and I am confident we now have a very strong Sales & Customer Service Team.

September saw the return of LabelExpo Chicago and whilst we didn’t see many Aussies at the exhibition, it was a great chance to spend time with the few we did as well as take time to understand the new technologies that are in today’s market place and of course proudly be a part of the brand new RotoMetrics stand.

It was close to the end of the year when we saw our record day for flex dies, 131 dies in total. This was a real spike during our already busy period, which is continuing.

Everyone at RotoMetrics is looking forward to 2015 and the challenges and successes that come with it.
