Tidland’s Model D5 reduces the time necessary for core positioning between runs.
Camas, WA—Tidland Corporation has just announced a new addition to their existing line of differential shafts. The Model D5, a core-slip design that enables a faster response to slit recipe changes, improves efficiency and accuracy in high-volume operations.
The Model D5 features removable, interchangeable core position trays to simplify core repositioning and loading. The core position tray also allows simultaneous adjustment of core position, reducing overall setup time. This new design rounds out a complete line of core-lock and core-slip differential shafts from Tidland, designed to increase profitability when rewinding multiple rolls of material that may be subject to caliper variation.
“Converters can now choose the level of control that is necessary to produce quality rolls and deliver profit.” explains Sean Craig, Product Manager for Tidland Corporation, “Each shaft design allows converters to take a proactive approach to addressing issues that are specific to the materials their customers require.”
