Core Chucks

A core chuck is a shaftless roll-support device that grips the inside of a hollow core from each end, holding and driving a roll without a shaft running through it. Inflating the chuck presses its gripping elements against the core wall so torque transfers without slip, and deflating it frees the roll for a fast changeover. Maxcess pneumatic core chucks come in expanding air chuck, lug and torque designs for unwind and rewind positions where a through-shaft is impractical for the roll's weight or diameter.
