ExactTrak Radar Sensor

ExactTrak Radar Sensor

The Fife ExactTrak Radar Sensor ensures exceptionally fast and accurate center position control of metal strips in high-temperature treatment lines, surpassing traditional capacitive or inductive sensors in performance and reliability. Featuring two exterior-mounted radar sensors emitting electromagnetic waves onto the edges of a metal strip, the system accurately determines strip position via dual receivers and the Fife D-MAXE digital signal processor.

For simple installation, each sensor enclosure is equipped with a sealed, thermal-insulated window and a mounting bracket. In most cases, ExactTrak fits into existing furnace wall openings used by older sensors, making it easy to upgrade to higher reliability radar sensor technology without any furnace modifications.
