Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Maxcess, a global leader in innovative products and services for the web handling industry, has just announced the 500th installation of the FIFE-500 Web Guiding System in the first 9 months of the products release. Converters in North and South America, Asia and Europe have invested in the new web guiding system to improve efficiency in their own operations after considering the technology at trade shows or on-site demonstrations from their local Maxcess contact.
Central to the FIFE-500 is a color touch screen display that’s easy to learn and operate. FIFE-500 leverages new technology to support 14 languages and intuitive icon-based operation resulting in an advanced, cost-competitive web guiding solution.
“The FIFE-500 represents an exciting time for Fife – where our increased investment in new technology has started to have an effect in the market. Our customer base in Nonwoven, Tag and Label, and Pouch/Bagging Machines are benefiting from our new technology and industry leading performance,” said Darren Irons, Global Product Manager for Fife. “The FIFE-500 represents only one of many new products released by Maxcess last year. We plan to continue innovating and providing more new products to the market in 2013.”
